Last week someone started stretching wires to electric poles along 64 in vicinity of Alex Cockman road and way up to the first turn-off to Pittsboro.
I tried to talk to the guys putting it in, but it is still unclear to me what it is all about. I asked who was putting it in and never got a clear answer, but none of it included Randolph . I was told I could “get it” but not clear just how.
I always thought fiber optics were underground, but they definitely told me this is lines suspended along with the electric and telephone lines.
Can anyone out there explain it all to me? When, who, and what. How to get it, etc.?
I’m sure there are plenty of other in this area interested.
